“I joined APMP in March 2025. Before that, I had no idea there was an entire association devoted to supporting and advancing those of us who work on proposals. I quickly found real value in virtual events; the presentations were insightful and directly applicable to the work I was doing. Because of those sessions, I was able to make the case for attending BPC Denver and signing up for Certification Day to take the Foundation exam. I was also able to attend our chapter’s training day last fall with my team. It was great to learn in-person with others from the chapter and make stronger connections. I’m based in Spokane, WA, and I don’t think there are many other members nearby, so training day was the perfect opportunity to get to know people better and build connections within the chapter. At that event, I was the lucky winner of our chapter’s certification fee prize, which was perfect since I was already planning to attend Certification Day at BPC Denver.”
