Our Story

The APMP Pacific Northwest Chapter was founded in 2009 by the late Lee Hendrickson and former Treasurer Ed Feeley with a simple but powerful idea: create a local community where proposal professionals could learn, connect, and grow together.

What began as a small group of dedicated members has grown into a vibrant, engaged chapter serving professionals across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, Hawaii, and Vancouver, British Columbia. Today, we bring together proposal managers, business developers, writers, strategists, and leaders at every stage of their careers.

We honor the legacy of our founders by continuing to build a collaborative, welcoming space that elevates the profession, supports emerging talent, and helps seasoned professionals stay sharp in an evolving industry.
